Anzac Day

ANZAC DAY
Anzac day is  on the 25th April. It commemorates all the New Zealanders that were killed in world war l and also that were injured and they fighted for our country they were hero but their family would be emotion but at least they knew that they were fighting for us.

WHAT HAPPENED
In the war they had a terrible live they didn't have nice cozy beds like us now they had hard bed that probably hurt  there back in pain they had to wake up early in the morning.

BISCUITS
Some times they had biscuits like hardtack that could break your teeth if you didn't have a drink with it. But they also had some really yummy biscuit called anzac biscuits that are and they didn't have it every night. some of their Mum might of sent over some anzac biscuits.

Guns
The gun they had were mostly rifles when they ran out of ammo the would of charged with their bayonets and try and stabbed them because they didn't have enough ammo back then so they just charged because that was there last option. But you've got to remember that there were heavy machine gun fire at them the whole time so they weren't lucky but at least some of them still came back from war.

MORE INFO
Some of the soldier ran away in the middle of war so they don’t get shot they were scared so they ran away it was really mean because if they found them they will shot them anyway .Also they had billy tea to drink they had water and sometimes beer if they are lucky.
